Gulab Ro Sitabo: The story of two Sheikh Challis who taste like kebabs in Lucknow, read Review

Watching Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushman Khurana's much-talked-about film 'Gulabo Sitabo', which premiered for the first time on the OTT platform, reminds one of Lucknow's kebabs. The film tastes like the kebabs of Lucknow. Director Sujit Sarkar has presented the story of two Fukra Mirza and Banke from Lucknow in a very unique way. The film is a light-hearted comedy, much like Premchand's novels. There is a different kind of film, which some will like and some will not like at all. The film, which is being released without theaters, is currently only available to those who prefer to watch it on the internet. But, overall it will be a fun experience.

Juhi Chaturvedi, the writer of 'Vicky Donor' has written the story of 'Gulabo Sitabo'. Elderly Amitabh Bachchan i.e. Mirza lives with his wife Begum and servants in Begum Mahal, a mansion in Lucknow. The mansion has several characters, one of whom is Banke Rastogi and his family. Mirza is always struggling with money, he is always demanding rent from these characters. Along with Banke, Mirza has a figure of thirty-six. Mirza is always messing around with something to occupy the mansion and evict the tenants, but the court's dilemma traps him. That's when the archeology department also comes to occupy the mansion for a leader and Banke also brings in a builder. It will be interesting to see who will get the mansion and who will keep watching.

Speaking of acting, Amitabh Bachchan is present in the film from the beginning to the end, he has portrayed the character of Mirza in a very beautiful way. At the same time, Ayushman Khurana has played the character of a village youth well. Other actors Brijesh Kala and Vijay Raje have added humor to the film with their performances. But the main attraction of the film is the actress Farooq Zafar in the character of Begum.

The film slows down a bit in the middle, but eventually the film picks up speed and the climax is so much fun. Overall, Gulabo Sitabo is a good film in terms of entertainment and direction. The film will bring the need to put a smile on your face.
