On the other hand, the government has also given permission to keep pan-masala in certain areas, including Amreli, Dwarka, Junagadh and Morbi. However, the government has taken this decision as all these districts are currently in the green zone.





Addicts are having the most trouble in lockdown, so traders have taken advantage of this opportunity to double the price on all addictive substances. Today, as per the guidelines of the Central Government, shops selling liquor, paan, gutka, tobacco etc. can be opened in the green zone. But this requires a distance of at least 6 feet (two yards key distance). In addition, these shops have a stipulation that no more than five people should be present at the shop at a time.





9 districts of Gujarat have been declared red zones. The districts of Gujarat which have been declared red zones include Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Banaskantha, Panchmahal, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar and Aravalli. Similarly, 19 districts of Gujarat have been declared Orange Zones. The districts which have been declared Orange Zones include Rajkot, Bharuch, Botad, Narmada, Chhota Udepur, Mahisagar, Mehsana, Patan, Kheda, Valsad, Dahod, Kutch, Navsari, Gir Somnath, Dang, Sabarkantha, Tapi, Jamnagar and Surendranagar. Similarly, 5 districts of the state have been declared green zones including Morbi, Amreli, Porbandar, Junagadh and Devbhoomi Dwarka. Corona positive cases have started in Gujarat since March. Corona infection has spread in 33 districts of Gujarat in the last one and a half months. Among the areas released by the Ministry of Health, nine districts of Gujarat have been identified as red zones. These include Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Banaskantha, Panchmahal, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar and Aravalli. Areas in the Orange Zone include Rajkot, Bharuch, Botad, Narmada, Chhota Udepur, Mehsana, Mahisagar, Patan, Kheda, Valsad, Dahod, Kutch, Navsari, Gir Somnath, Dang, Sabarkantha, Tapi, Jamnagar and Surendranagar districts.

The number of corona cases in Gujarat is steadily increasing. With 313 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours in Gujarat, the number of infected people in the state has reached 4395. The death toll in the state has reached 124 with 17 patients dying in the last 24 hours. 3 more wards have been included in the road zone in view of increasing cases.
